This parameter is sent as integer value in ISD message to MSC/VLR and in MSC/VLR there is a configuration defined for each type of routing category that how to treat this call. Sample of ISD message sent from HLR to VLR:

please provide information if 'routing category' parameter is supported on HLR.
It has an integer value which HLR sends to VLR in ISD message during LU.

Goal

Want to know if the PrivateExtension Nokia feature is supported by HLR SDM.

Solution

We have learned this is private Nokia feature. SDM platform complies with 3GPP standards.
SDM platform will not attempt to treat the 'extension'.
