Goal
Calls Originating from Softswitch are not reaching TDM exchanges of other Region
Call Flow:
Soft-Switch -------> Region1-STPA + Region1-STPB (LoadShare) --------> Region2-STPA ------- >TDM Exchange
From Soft-Switch we have M3UA Links with Eagle Region1.STPA and Region1.STPB. M3UA Link Status is normal. But the End Office status is un-reachable.
From Signal Trace of M3UA :
SS Sends message = DAUD -- Destination Status Audit
ISB.STPA and ISB.STPB Replies with = SCON SS7 Network Congestion State
Then ISB.STPA and ISB.STPB Replies with = DRST Destination Restricted
The end office status is unreachable from Soft-Switch.
Solution
The Region2-STPB is out of service. The route restricted messages towards end exchanges occur because the STP-B route is not available.
Hence; Region1-STP sends "DRST Destination Restricted" message back to Softswitch.
When the route to STP-B Lahore is removed; the DPC restricted messages are cleared from STP.
The Softswitch team needs to check why the Softswitch considers a Destination Restricted Message as Destination Prohibited.
After deleting the routes to Region2-STP-B; the traffic is normal.
