Goal

Eagle STP Measurement Data is not available in the EMS Server

Solution

Perform following steps:
1. Check the Output Measurement Files directory to see if there are any files:

ls -al /u01/app/netboss/local/STP/csvoutput

2. Check input Measurement Directory to see if there are any measurement files there:

ls -al /u01/app/netboss/MeasurementsPlatform

3. Check measurement parsing log file to see if processing any files. This proves that files are not coming from Eagle to EMS:

tail -100 /u01/app/netboss/log

4. Log in to Eagle and check if COLLECT=ON using following command:

rtrv-meas-sched

5. If COLLECT=OFF, then run following command:

chg-meas:collect=ON

6. After one polling cycle; check if measurements have started arriving in input directory of EMS. If files are still not coming; go to next step.

7. Check FTP transfer errors using following command:

Rtrv-log:dir=bkwd:num=100:snum=1251:enum=1254

8. Run FTP test

pass:loc=1115:cmd="ftptest -a meas"

> pass:loc=1113:cmd="ftptest -a meas"

  stp 14-09-16 11:39:33 GMT EAGLE5 44.0.2-64.34.16
  pass:loc=1113:cmd="ftptest -a meas"

9. If FTP Test is unsuccessful; check the error code. If the error shows uid/password incorrect; then delete and recreated FTP-serv data in Eagle.

dlt-ftp-serv

ent-ftp-serv

10. Check FTP test to see it is successful. If still not; then move to next step.
11. Run following command to check which MASP is active state.

 Rept-stat-card:appl=oam

12. Run following command to initialize the active MASP

Init-card:loc=xxxx where xxxx is location of Active MASP determined in step8

13. Login to Eagle after some time
14. Run following command to check which MASP is active state.

Rept-stat-card:appl=oam

15. Make sure that this time the active MASP is different from the first one.
16. Wait for half an hour.
17. Check on EMS if you can see measurement files for the stprp on EMS end.
18. Do ftp test. If still unsuccessful; replace at least one E5OAM card
19. If still unsuccessful; please provide output of following commands:
        Rtrv-log:dir=bkwd:num=100:snum=1251:enum=1254
        Rept-stat-meas
