Goal

Load ZFS Storage Appliance analytics onto another ZFS-SA system for analysis - from a provided supportbundle.

Solution

ZFS-SA analytics worksheets can be loaded on another ZFS-SA system or on to a ZFS-SA simulator.

  • To load a worksheet, go to Maintenance --> Workflows in the ZFS-SA BUI.
  • If you do not see a workflow called "Import worksheet", hold down the shift key and press the plus sign.
  • Once the "Import worksheet" workflow is found, click on that workflow and select the worksheet that you want to load.
  • Then click on the Upload button.
  • Once the worksheet has been upload, then OK the workflow.
  • At this point, the akd (Appliance Kit Daemon) process will restart.
  • Once the akd process is running again, then log into the BUI and navigate to the Analytics and under Open Worksheets should be the analytics that were loaded.

WARNING:  Loading new Analytics will remove (overwrite) any existing Analytics that were on the system previously.
