”Max duration of a Diameter session inactivity (s)” is the parameter the DIH uses to wait on a receive Answer for a peroxided Diameter Request message before it marks that Request as having timed-out.
This parameter is defaulted to 60 seconds.

Goal

This documents provides the "How To" instructions of how to obtain the Diameter S6a Request Timeout Value from DIH GUI.

”Max duration of a Diameter session inactivity (s)” is the parameter the DIH uses to wait on a receive Answer for a peroxided Diameter Request message before it marks that Request as having timed-out.

This parameter is defaulted to 60 seconds.

Solution

Access the DIH GUI:

  1. This parameter can be found under the CCM -> Mediation -> Site -> (Site Name) -> IXP -> Dataflow Processing,
  2. Click the box that is associated with type Building.
  3. Click on the Modify icon on the top line of the display.
  4. Click on the Next button at the bottom of the gui till Parameter is highlighted.
  5. Click on “IMS DIAMETER Sh TDR reconstitution”
