Goal
To allow a user to access a Sun Ray Client's GUI interface, when the local password is lost or forgotten.
Solution
- Power cycle the Sun Ray Client (DTU)
- While the unit is resetting, open the Clear Configuration Menu by,
- using the 'stop + c' combination (on Oracle/SUN keyboard), or
- the 'ctrl + pause + c' combination (on PC keyboards).
- Select the Reset-All option.
The Sun Ray Client will reset, clearing all the Sun Ray Operating System's configuration, including password.
