Goal

In case alarm event 32333 - HP hpacucliStatus utility problem occurs, this document describes the required steps to clear it.

Procedure

Execute commands to clear alarm in DSR 5.0.  (Name reference in Alarm Event)

  1. Root Login to "serverName"  reporting alarm event
  2. Execute command to verify process is NOT running:
    ps -ef | grep syscheck
  3. Continue to next step if "hpacucliStatus" process is not running
  4. Execute command to stop all links to process:
    stop TKLChpacucli
  5. Execute command to start "hpacucliStatus":
    start TKLChpacucli
  6. Execute command to verify process is running:
    ps –ef | grep syscheck
