Created from <SR 3-9373549611> Applies to:Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 6.6.4 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform. GoalIn some cases (for example when a power outage occurs or when the server/MSA connection is severed) the Logical Drives configured on the MSA may end up in FAILED state. This document explains how to re-enabled FAILED logical volumes on a MSA. SolutionThe FAILED state will prevent the operating system from writing data on the partition located on the logical drives. To fix this, you must first re-enable the logical drives. As root user login to hpacucli utility.
Depending on hardware type, the controller slot and logical drive number may vary.
Once the Logical drives are re-enabled, try to write data on the partition hosted by these Logical drives, if the write still fails then reboot the server. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
