Goal

To clear Alarm Event 22103 - SCTP connection impaired for connection, when connection is taking traffic and is a false alarm.
 

Solution

Execute steps to clear false alarm:

1. Compare the current time to the timestamp of the Alarm Event.

   Note:  Proceed to step 2 if the Alarm Event does not update after 300 seconds.

2. Execute command from server to verify alarm:
  "ra.stat"
  Note: The false alarm will not display in output. Continue to step 3.
3. Execute command from server that generated alarm:
  "alarm.put –e 22103 –s 5 –i <INSTANCE>"
  Note: Proceed with step 4 if alarm clears and sets.
4. Execute Disable/Enable Connection from SOAM GUI.

The steps above will clear the false alarm.
