Goal

Is it supported to apply Security patches like ELSA-2012, ELSA-2013, ELSA-2014 on Exalytics with Patch Set 4(PS4)?

Solution

Oracle Exalytics does not support any kernel updates apart from Exalytics Patch Sets.

In the latest PS4 patchset release for Exalytics there are many security updates been included and it is always recommended to come to this patchset.

In addition to this, security patches can be applied on the Exalytics box provided that there is no kernel update.
