Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Can keys that are exported from Oracle Key Manager KMA's be imported into/used in other key management systems (such as IBM's TKLM/SKLM)? Likewise, can keys exported from other key management systems be imported into/used within Oracle's OKM?

Solution

The short answer is no.

Vendors may work on an interoperability standard some day, but currently there is
no industry standard for encryption keys.
