Goal

Explain why the Exalytics system is delivered with the "Ondemand" CPU governor rather than "Performance" as the CPU governor?
 

Solution

The Exalytics system is set to "Ondemand" as default when delivered per direction of product development of Exa systems.

The below document provides details on how to change the default mode from "Ondemand" to "Performance":
