GoalHow to change the LFA ( Large File Accelerator) settings of the T10000D drive using VOP (Virtual Op Panel) to persist through an IPL. SolutionThis settings should persist through an IPL. The only way they would not persist is if you changed the interface type. (FICON to Fibre Channel or vice versa) Then the settings would be lost. To do this => Take the drive offline and select the Configuration menu item. Select Drive Data, Select the FIBRE tab. At the bottom are 2 selections: one for FIBRE and the other for FICON.
