Goal

 Procedure to find library model details from ACSLS (command line)

Solution

1.  Login to ACSLS server as user "acsss" and bring up a cmd_proc session:

     $   cmd_proc -l

        ACSSA> 

 

2. Display all configured ACSs.  For example:

     ACSSA>  query acs all

      2014-04-16 16:43:41                ACS Status
      Identifier   State        Free Cell  Audit  Mount  Dismount  Enter  Eject
                                             Count      C/P    C/P    C/P       C/P    C/P
       0                 online           31         0/0    0/0    0/0       0/0    0/0

       1                 online           2000      0/0    0/0    0/0       0/0    0/0        

 

3. To determine the what type of library is associated with ACS 0 and ACS 1, logoff from the cmd_proc session
    and issue the lib_type.sh command:
   
    ACSSA>  logoff
   
    $  lib_type.sh 0
    SL500

    $  lib_type.sh 1
    SL3000
