Goal

When a cell is down in Oracle Exadata machine, if you run exachk report, how to check that in the report

Solution

Exachk skips the cells which are down and whose disks are not part of ASM while generating the report, so you may not see this information on any of the top sections of exachk report easily.

To find the information, please goto "SKIPPED NODES" section(as shown below) in the report and click on that section. This will take you to bottom of the report to show you the ip addresses of the machines which are skipped by Exachk.
