How to replace the power supply on an Acme Packet Net-Net 2620
Solution
DISPATCH INSTRUCTIONS
This task relates to service of an ACME PACKET product. Parts specified in this task should be delivered using a cost effective next day delivery method, and may require to be back ordered from a Tier 1 location. The Planned End Date should be set to a time on the second business day to enable this, unless specific instructions from the TSC engineer indicate otherwise.

PROBLEM OVERVIEW:
Acme Packet 2620 Power Supply Replacement
WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :
A data backup is not a prerequisite, but is a wise precaution.
The power supplies are hot swappable, therefore this can be done without powering the system down.

WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE?:
Remove the Power Supply from the system
- Remove the power cable from the Power Supply unit that is being replaced.
- Depress the Green lever and slide the power supply unit out of the system.
Install the new Power Supply
- Make sure that the connector is located to the bottom and slide the power supply in until it "clicks".
- Be sure that the power supply is secure.
- Make sure that the green lever is returned to the right to secure the power supply.
- Reconnect the power cable and verify that the power supply is returned to service. The LED should turn solid GREEN to indicate proper operation.
OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
