Goal

How to change the NTP server settings
 

Solution

A Microsoft Windows system should not be used as an NTP server for Unix/Linux clients as it will not work. The Axiom is a Linux NTP client.

For an Axiom that is running software release 4.x and below:

Log into the GUI using an account with administrator privileges.
Click on the "System" button at the top. Then click "Sumamry" on the left-hand side.  Click on the Actions dropdown on the lower right and select Modify Time Settings. You can set/change the NTP settings on the "Modify System Time Settings" screen that opens.

 

 


 

For an Axiom that is running software release 5.x:

Log into the GUI using an account with administrator privileges.

Click on the "Configure" tab.  Then click on "System Time" under Global Settings on the left hand side.  Right click in the right-hand window pane and select "Modify System Time".  You can set/change the NTP settings on the "Modify System Time" window that opens.
