Solution Type Technical Instruction Sure Solution 1594461.1 : Acme Command Line Interface Audit Trail for Telnet, Console, and SSH Commands
In this Document
Applies to:Acme Packet 4500 - Version S-Cx6.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform. GoalAcme Command Line Interface (ACLI) audit trail for telnet, console, and SSH commands. SolutionThe Net-Net SBC (session border controller) may be configured to send a history of all user-entered commands to a common audit log file. When this feature is enabled, all commands entered from any ACLI session are written to the cli.audit.log file. The log file may also be displayed by using the show logfile cli.audit command. In addition, the system records what configuration a user selects when using the select command. Prompted passwords are not saved, but the requests for changes to them are. The cli.audit.log file is stored in the log directory (/ramdrv/logs), and it is lost when the system is rebooted; this file is not available off-box. The ACLI audit trail is enabled by default, but it may be turned off by changing the system configuration’s cli-audit-trail parameter to disabled. Note the audit log is only available in software versions 5.X and later.
