Goal

Resetting Passwords on a Net-Net 4250.

Solution

Boot using diags image. Refer to How to Run Diagnostics on a Net-Net 4250.
After booting up 4250 to VxWorks promp, enter password: flatspin
Type 'dm' to get to diagnostic Menu
Enter '10' to select "Diagnostic Utilities Menu"
Enter '27' to verify that the system is in normal password mode (not password secure mode)
Enter '26' to select "Reset System Passwords"
Enter 'y' to confirm that you want to reset system passwords to their defaults
Or enter 'n' to exit without changing.
