Goal

How to disable ipV6 on Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).

Solution

This option does not require reboot the ODA system.

 

(i)  Disable the ipV6 by adding below line in /etc/ssh/sshd_config config file.


     AddressFamily inet    #  use only ipv4

(ii)  Restart sshd service on node as root:

     #service sshd restart
