GoalCommon Array Manager (CAM) secures all transactions with its own SSL certificates. This document explains whether installation of custom SSL certificates (not supplied by Oracle ) affects normal functioning of CAM and identifies all of the appropriate files to update and replace when implementation of custom SSL certificates is required. SolutionCustom SSL certificates will not affect CAM functionality. Before you install custom SSL certificates, as a precaution backup the existing certificate files used by CAM. CAM uses two SSL certificate files. In Solaris, they are:
In Windows
For example, In Solaris: # cp /var/webconsole/domains/console/conf/keystore.jks /var/tmp/certs_backup/keystore.jks
# cp /var/webconsole/domains/console/conf/wccerts.jks /var/tmp/certs_backup/wccerts.jks
Do not replace the existing *.jks files manually in the mentioned location. They have to get updated during the custom SSL installation process.
