Goal

How to set the iLOM date and time from the iLOM CLI (Command Line Interface) console

Solution

  Set the iLOM date using the following command:

-> set /SP/clock datetime=MMDDhhmmYYYY.ss

(Change MMDDhhmmYYYY.ss  with current date & time ).

If an NTP server is  enabled, disable the server first then update the date and time using this command.

You can disable NTP server synchronisation by running following command, which disables the NTP service:

-> set /SP/clock/usentpserver=disabled

Once the NTP service is disabled you can set the ILOM date and time.
