Step By Step Instructions on how to change the Hostname on a ZFS Storage Appliance Solution
Note: Definition of 'System Name': This name is separate from any DNS names that are used to connect to the system (which would be configured on remote DNS servers). This name can be changed at any time
Changing the Hostname using BUI Login to appliance [ https://(appliance.ip.address):215 ]
Key in the User Name (root) / Password Select Context 'Configuration' Under context 'Configuration' select context 'Service' Under context 'Service' select Context 'System Identity' Key in the desired host-name Hit the 'Apply' Tab
SSH to the appliance kit ApplianceKit-a-node3:>
