Caution – There are no serviceable components behind the side panels. It is not necessary to remove the side panels for any procedures in the service manual.
Remove Side Panels The side panel is in two pieces. 1. If it is necessary to move the server, turn off all AC power first. Halt the server and turn off all AC power: -> stop /System Note this command requires the Oracle ILOM Reset and Host Control (r) user role.
2. Loosen captive T20 Torx screws on the side panels. 3. Pull the side panels away from the bottom of the server, then lift the panels off. Install Side Panels 1. Hook the top edges of the side panels over the side of the server. 2. Tighten the captive T20 Torx screws to secure the side panels. 3. If necessary, turn on AC power to the server. 4. If necessary, restart the server. 5. Return the faulted component to Oracle.
OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE: Restart software applications per applicable administration guides to resume system operation. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
