Goal

Resetting the CMM of a SUN BLADE 6000/6048 MODULAR SYSTEM without access
via SSH or Web, you can do it through one of the blade(s) in the chassis using ipmitool.

Fix

If the CMM is not accessible due to the maximum number of sessions
has been exhausted:

1) # ssh root@CMM-net-mgt
Password:
shell: Maximum number of sessions exhausted

Connection to CMM-net-mgt closed.
#

Log into a blade in the chassis:

2) root@blade1 # ipmitool -H CMM-net-mgt -U root bmc reset cold
Password:
Sent cold reset command to MC
root@blade1 #

and after that you can log into the CMM without problems

3) # ssh root@CMM-net-mgt
