In this Document
Applies to:Oracle Exalytics Software - Version 1.0.0.0.0 to 1.0.0.2.0 [Release 1.0]Exalytics In-Memory Machine X2-4 - Version All Versions and later Information in this document applies to any platform. GoalWhen viewing Storage under the System Information section in the Oracle Exalytics ILOM console, you see that Health is 'Not Available' as shown below. Does this indicate that something is wrong with the storage, or that something was not installed, or configured, when the system was delivered? SolutionNo, there is nothing wrong with the configuration. This message indicates that the Hardware Management Pack (HMP) is not installed. To confirm that the HMP is not installed, please run the following command: $hwmgmtcli -V
If installed, it will show results like: hwmgmtcli version (2.2.5)
If desired, you may install the HMP by downloading and installing <Patch 16384749>: Oracle HMP 2.2.5 for Oracle Linux 5 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 64-bit. More information on the Hardware Management Pack (HMP) is available here. The patch can also be downloaded from My Oracle Support(MOS) -> Select Patches -> Search by product "Oracle Hardware Management Pack," Release (i.e. OHMP 2.2.6) and Select Platform (i.e. Linux x86-64) References<NOTE:1527167.1> - Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine diagnostic data collection scriptAttachments This solution has no attachment |
