Sun Fire V440 Server - Version Not Applicable to Not Applicable [Release N/A]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

New installation of an SL48 tape library and Sunfire V440 server.

Fix

Customer is trying to direct connect the SL48 tape library to the Sunfire V440 server via fibre.  Customer originally daisy chained both drives in the SL48 so only one of the drives was connected to the server, therefore resulting in the server only being able to see one drive.  Cannot daisy chain fibre, only SCSI.  Must connect both drives via fibre to both ports on the server or can connect both drives to a switch.
