What is the best firmware to install in T10000A/B in Solaris environment? The firmware installed is 1.48.x05.
I saw in tape support web site that the last firmware released is 1.48.X12 but I saw some recommendations with checks (34B8, 349C, 3002, and 31E8), when going from 1.48.105 to 1.48.112.
Is this error occurs in Solaris environment too?

Goal

Recommended Firmware to Install in T10000A/B in Solaris Environment. This applies to ALL environments, not just Solaris.

Solution

At this time it is recommended to install special build RA48.x12 code.

We are finding several accounts that cannot run with the released 1.48.x12 code.

A plan is in place to EC release RA48.x12 code but it will take some time.

Contact L2 Tape Hardware Support to acquire special build release code.
