Field training in M10-4S servers TASK COMPLEXITY: 2 Time Estimate: 30 minutes FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY?: Most types of maintenance are available for the Power Supply, but the easiest is Active/hot maintenance. For the other maintenance types see the M10 Service Manual
1. Execute the XSCF> replacefru command to isolate the target Power Supply unit from the Crossbar box 2. Remove the power cords from the Power Supply 3. While raising the the lever of the Power Supply unit, hold the handle and pull out the power supply unit. Power Supplies are numbered starting from the bottom 0 to 3 4. Replace the Power Supply 5. Replace the power cords 6. Execute the XSCF> replacefru command to restore the Power Supply to Service
