Solution Type Technical Instruction Sure Solution 1528122.1 : How to Change the Management IP Address of the Oracle Fabric Interconnect Chassis from the CLI
In this Document
Applies to:Oracle Fabric Interconnect F1-15 - Version All Versions and laterOracle Fabric Interconnect F1-4 - Version All Versions and later Information in this document applies to any platform. GoalI need to change the management IP address of the Oracle Fabric Interconnect chassis from the CLI. How do I do it? SolutionLog on to the OVN chassis via a console session, and login as admin and use the following commands - #set system management-interface -address="IP address/netmask (e.g. 192.168.3.56/24)" -default-gateway="Default gateway IP address" -ipconfig="default/static/dhcp" -netmask= "IP netmask (e.g 255.255.255.0)" -ntpservers="List of NTP servers (hostnames, comma separated)"
The below command will display the new IP address/netmask. It is recommended that the IP address is changed via a console session, as modifying the IP address via a SSH session will disconnect the session. #show system interfaces
