However this firmware level requires a minimum version of Sun Storage Common Array Manager (CAM).
SolutionThis new firmware brings new features which require the use of CAM 6.9.0_20 (or higher if available). Using any earlier versions of CAM to manage an array with the firmware 07.84.xx.xx will lead to unexpected behaviors and will not be supported by Oracle. If you want to know what version of CAM you have, please refer to <Document 1011180.1> How to determine the version of Sun Storage Common Array Manager (CAM).
In order to install CAM 6.9.0_20, you need to install the base version of CAM 6.9, and add patches. See details below: Solaris sparc :
