Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Can we remove PostgreSQL related packages from Super cluster(where these packages are installed by default) ?

Customers may want to remove these they may not use them at all.

 

Fix

Yes. You can remove the PostgreSQL packages & user from your S10 domains on SuperCluster.

There is no part of the SuperCluster framework that is dependent on these.

Note that the PostgreSQL packages have already been removed from S11.
