Goal

To determine the HCA firmware version on a Windows Server running OVN Windows host drivers

Fix

Issuing the command

C:\Program Files\Xsigo Systems\Xsigo Monitor.hta

 at a command prompt will launch the Xsigo Monitor utility and display:

System Information
Xsigo_BusInformation
Xsigo_IBPortInformation
Xsigo_XSMPSessionInformation, and
Xsigo_VNICInformation

Located under Xsigo_IBPortInformation will be an item called:

Instance.HCAFirmwareVersion=#.#.#

This line item denotes the current running firmware for the installed HCA.

The following syntax can be used to poll the monitoring information from another Windows host connected to an IO Director in your environment.

Xsigo Monitor.hta <ipaddr>
