Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Back up the Oracle Fabric Interconnect config and send the config to a remote archive location

Fix

Location of the current config:-

xavier:~# cd /var/data/current/config

You will find files similar to the ones mentioned below:

xavier:~# cd /var/data/current/config
xavier:/var/data/current/config# ls
config-imported.xml config-save2.xml config-save5.xml config-save8.xml
config-save0.xml config-save3.xml config-save6.xml config-save9.xml
config-save1.xml config-save4.xml config-save7.xml config.xml
xs1:/var/data/current/config#

It is advisable to save all the config files under this folder: xs1:~# cd /var/data/current/config and SCP them to a remote location <The config files roll over the old ones>

You can SCP *.xml of the Xsigo Fabric Director and store it.
