Goal

Learn how to synchronize Oracle Fabric Director time to an NTP server or manually set date and time from Oracle Fabric Director CLI.

Fix

How to sync the time of Oracle Fabric Directors with an NTP server or manually configure the time on the Oracle Fabric Directors.

Solution:
To sync to an NTP Server, use the following command to sync the Oracle Fabric Director time with the NTP server:

admin@chassis[xsigo] set system ntp-server <server name/IP addr>

If there is not an NTP server, use the following command to manually set the date and time on the Oracle Fabric Directors:

admin@karnataka[xsigo] set system date <exact format as seen in ‘show system date’>
