Goal

How to verify firmware installation date on service processor(SP).

ILOM version output only displays the date when the patch was released by Oracle. There is no information on when the ILOM firmware was updated on the SP.

Fix

There's no field in the snapshot version showing FW installation date.

One way to check FW installation date is to grep the word chain "build" in vbsc.log (from snapshot output)

The above example shows a SP which was running FW 8.2.1 on October 29. On October 30 it was reverted to FW 8.1.5.a and on October 31 FW 8.2.0.a was installed.
