1. How to shutdown a KMA 2.X correctly.
    1. Log onto KMA from the console via serial port ELOM connection, or with a keyboard and monitor attached.
        See KMS Installation Manual for details on connecting to console.
    2. Log on as use with operator role.
    3. Select option from the menu, to shutdown the KMA.
    4. At the prompt, type y and press . The following information is displayed,    indicating that the system is shutting down.
        Shutting down...
    5. The shutdown sequence is displayed. When it is finished, the following information is displayed.
        Power down.
    6. The KMA is now powered off. The KMA can be powered on using either the power button or the ELOM remote power control function.


2. How to reboot a KMA 2.X correctly.

    1. Log onto KMA from the console via serial port ELOM connection, or with a keyboard and monitor attached.
        See KMS Installation Manual for details on connecting to console.
    2. Log on as use with operator role.
    3. Select option from the menu, to reboot the KMA.
    4. At the prompt, type y and press . The following information is displayed, indicating that the system is rebooting.
        Rebooting ...
    5. The reboot sequence is displayed. When it is finished, the following information is displayed.
        Press any character and the Enter key to launch the KMA Console...
        The SCA 6000 card is initialized. Press Enter to continue...
    6. Log back in.


3. How to shutdown a KMA 1.X correctly.


   1. Close all open terminal windows, type: exit and press enter.
   2. Go to Launch in the lower left corner of the desktop.
   3. Select Log Out kmsadmin and click OK.
   4. At the operating system login screen, select Options ? Command Line Login.
   5. Press enter to get a prompt.
   6. Login as root.
       Login: root
       Password: {stkEAL33}
   7. Enter the command : init 5


4. How to reboot a KMA 1.X correctly.
   1. Close all open terminal windows, type: exit and press enter.
