   WHAT SKILLS DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED?: Knowledge of Tape Hardware and use of Virtual Operator Panel (VOP).

FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR INSTRUCTIONS:
   PROBLEM OVERVIEW: How to obtain HP LTO-4 Dione Adapter logs to assist with troubleshooting Oracle Key Manager issues
   WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY?: HP LTO tape drive should be powered on.
   WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE?:

1) Connect laptop to customers service network, and launch Virtual Operator Panel.

2) Connect to suspect HP LTO-4 drive via IP address with VOP (Virtual Op Panel).

3) Go to "Service Drive" tab in VOP.

4) Click on "Support Files" and download the dump log.  This can take 5 to 10 minutes.

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
   WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE?: N/A
