Goal
Replacement of the CAP switch/motor assembly can be accomplished from the front of the module.
Solution
CAP Switch/Motor assembly removal:
To remove the CAP switch/motor assembly, perform the following:
1. Verify with the operator that no CAP operations are pending.
2. Remove the decorative front cover by pulling the lower conrners towards you.
3. Remove the two T15 screws that attach the EMC cover. Remove the cover.
4. Disconnect the following three conectors:
a. P/J310 (PUZ logic card power)
b. P/J327 (motor signal)
c. P/J326 (motor switches)
5. Remove the two T25 screws from the motor switch assembly.
6. Slide the motor switch assembly straight back.
7. Remove the two T25 screws that hold in the PUZ card and plate.
8. Pull out the PUZ logic card.
9. Disconnect the following two connectors:
a. P/J328 (CAP button)
b. P/J311 (PUZ signal)
CAP Switch/Motor assembly replacement:
To replace the CAP switch/motor assembly:
1. Replace the switch motor assembly by reversing this procedure.
2. test the CAP by opening and closing the CAP.
