Goal

The purpose of this document is to outline AS400 and RMLS Support for OS/400 via ACSLS.

Solution

RMLS is still supported. It supports our latest devices and it is now rolled in to ACSLS so there is no additional software to purchase.

The StorageTek T10000C and T10000B tape drives now support AS400 V7R1MO and V6R1M1! The attached AS400 support matrix details the current support for iSeries environments with Oracle tape technology. The latest enterprise tape drive firmware to support these iSeries environments is now available. Our engineering team is continuing to work on qualifying our LTO portfolio and encryption portfolio with the latest AS400 OS levels. Support for these additional integration points will roll out over the course of this year.

Additionally, the RMLS software to support these AS400 environments is now available for all ACSLS customers. All customers who are paying maintenance on their ACSLS licenses and all new ACSLS customers may download the latest version of RMLS from Oracle Software Delivery Cloud: https://edelivery.oracle.com/
