REMOVAL/REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :

The host should be shut down & power removed.

WHAT ACTIONS ARE REQUIRED?:

A) Remove a Fan Module FT0 or 1

1. Remove the top cover

2. Squeeze the fan's release latch & lift fan out of chassis

B) Install a Fan Module FT0 or 1

1. Squeeze the fan's release latch & lower the fan into position

2. Attach the top cover

C) Remove a Fan Module FT2

1. Loosen the Green captive screw then remove FT2.

D) Install a Fan Module FT2

1. Insert FT2 then tighten the green captive screw.

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE

WHAT ACTIONS ARE REQUIRED TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE?: N/A
