SolutionThere are several methods to determine the uptime of the service processor OS. Method #1 - From the CLI interface Certain newer verions of the SP firmware will have the uptime shown in the /SP/clock data shown below. 1. SSH to the SP IP address -> show /SP/clock
/SP/clock Targets: Properties: datetime = Thu May 7 13:42:49 2015 timezone = PDT (America/Los_Angeles) uptime = 10 days, 06:28:21 usentpserver = enabled Commands: cd set show -> show /SP/clock uptime /SP/clock Properties: uptime = 10 days, 06:29:29
1. Collect and unzip a snapshot from the service processor. Depending on OS
cat @proc@uptime or cat /proc/uptime
Method #3 - From the ILOM GUI 1. Login to the ILOM GUI with your browser, then look on the System Information / Overview tab. Method #4 - From the SP bash prompt (normally restricted to FE use) [(flash)root@SPhostname:~]# uptime
