- PROBLEM OVERVIEW:
The array password is forgotten and the management host can no longer make configuration changes. Attempts to
do so will encounter an error message saying there is a password mismatch or incorrect password entered. Typically
this problem occurs when an array is moved to a new management host or it is unregistered and re-registered on the
current management host.
Note: For the ST6130, the "Service Interface Main Menu" is only available with the firmware 06.19.23.10 or higher. If you cannot upgrade the array firmware, contact the Oracle support

Resetting the array password can be done at anytime with the array powered on.

2. Get into the "Service Interface Main Menu".
a) Press S to access the Service Interface menu.
b) Type the serial port password, kra16wen, and press Enter.

# /opt/SUNWstkcam/bin/sscs modify -a <arrayname> -q registeredarray
Enter the array password: leave it blank
