Goal

Pillar Axiom is supported on Citrix StorageLink 2.4 and above. To use the Pillar Axiom with StorageLink, Axiom version 04.02.15 or higher is required.

Solution

The Axiom and StorageLink communicate through the SMI interfaces. To connect to the Axiom please following the steps below:

Launch StorageLink Manager and connect to the gateway service.

Click Add Storage Systems in the Home tab of the main pane.

In the dialog box that appears, select Pillar Axiom Storage Adapter (SMI-S) from the pull-down list.

Provide a Name for the credential, the CIMOM namespace (the default is /root/pg_interop) and CIMOM IP address, the Port number (the default is 5988), and the Login credentials to Pillar AxiomONE Storage Manager; repeat the password in the Confirm Password field; then click OK.
