Goal
To have the Storage nodes to call home with ASR, the configuration needs to be setup within the cluster to have the management networks to be locked to that assigned node
Note: If this is a new install and the Storage nodes are not in production yet, than a scheduled maintenance window is not needed. If the Storage nodes are in production, a scheduled maintenance window is recommended, as these steps to setup the cluster configuration does require a failover to the second node once the primary node configuration is completed
Fix
Configuration of the Storage node 1 to set the management interface igb0
Step 1: Log into the Storage Node 1 BUI through your preferred browser https://<Storage igb0 IP>:215
Step 2: Navigate to the Cluster configuration page
2a: You can get to this page by clicking on “Configuration”
2b: Under the Configuration page, then click on “Cluster”

Step 3: Locate the management interface igb0 on the screen
Step 4: At the end of the interface, click the lock Icon to lock the interface to Storage Node 1

Step 5: Click the “Apply” Button to save changes
Step 6: From the same page, click on the “FailBack” button to transfer the active node to Storage Node 2
Configuration of the Storage Node 2 to set the management interface igb1
Step 1: Log into Storage Node 2 BUI through preferred browser as you did with Storage Node 1 https://<Storage igb1 IP>:215
Step 2: Navigate to the Cluster configuration page.
2a: You can get to this page by clicking on “Configuration”
2b: Under the Configuration page, then click on “Cluster”

Step 3: Locate the management interface igb1 on the screen
Step 4: At the end of the interface, click the lock Icon to lock the interface to Storage Node 2

Step 5: Click the “Apply” Button to save changes
Step 6: From the same page, click on the “FailBack” button to transfer the active node back to Storage Node 1
