Goal

SL3000 - CLI Command to Turn Off the Service Light for an Expired Service Password

Solution

The following action must be done by a Field Service Person as it is NOT available to the customer.

Assuming 3.0 or higher code level.
Go to the alerts page in SLConsole and cancel the alert.
Make sure you enter "hwActivation serviceFeature enable" at the CLI.
The warnings should stop after the actual service expiration date passes.
Verify the new command is active by entering "hwActivation print" at the CLI.
If the old date is still displayed, a reboot of the library will be required.
