SolutionAn FSC 8FEE or FSC 73D8 can be attributed to a temporary or recoverable error communicating to a physical tape drive (RTD), VLE virtual tape drive (vRTD), or VTSS for data replication.
2) A virtual RTD (vRTD) which is part of the VLE solution to migrate(write) or recall(read) data between the VTSS and VLE. 3) A Cluster link which is attached to another VTSS. It is used to replicate (copy or write) a VTV from one VTSS to another. A cluster link can be either a Ficon channel link or IP ethernet link. If an RTD or vRTD is determined to have gone offline, please check the state of the device and/or communication link (Clink). If offline, please make an attempt to vary back online through VTCS.
