Goal

Oracle Key Manager (OKM) version 2.5 contains the exact same version on the KMA server as version 2.4.1 patch 12978071 Build 119.

Fix

OKM 2.5 is only being released to provide a software package for Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.5 for PKCS#11, ASO support with OKM. This is contained within the patch file for OKM 2.5.0 available for download from My Oracle Support (MOS).

The OKM 2.5 version is not needed if customer sites are using Tape Drive agents only.

If customer site is running OKM 2.4.1 with tape drives only then it is unnecessary to upgrade to 2.5.0.

If running 2.3.x then site can either upgrade to 2.4.1 or 2.5.0 as the OKM code is exactly the same.
