Trained on the SL3000 and SL8500 library hardware.

FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS:
- PROBLEM OVERVIEW
Need to use SDP / SL Console to collect Statistical Logs SL3000 or SL8500 for troubleshooting problem with library hardware.
- WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE
RESOLUTION ACTIVITY?
The library can be operational when collecting this data.

- WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
The following are the recommended logs to collect:
- 'Event Log' (Error, Warning and Info)
- 'Software Versions'
- 'Library Details'
- 'Cartridge Summary' (For Media Issues Only as this can be lengthy due to the number or carts in library)

Note: Log Snapshot is now the preferred way of capturing the above information.

Once the logs have been captured, they should be attached to the Service Request for review.
