Goal
New brocade 48000 is ordered, but forgot to buy the extended fabric licenses.
There are other brocade 48000s switches in use that have the Extended fabric license, but which do not need it.
Can we transfer the license from 1 Brocade 48000 to another ?
Solution
Such a transfer is neither supported , nor possible.
The transferring license is per Brocade agreement only supported when replacing a defective switch. So the old switch should no longer be used.
On top of that, the transfer is only possible for all the licenses, not for separate ones.
